Yes, I have, with no luck. I was also reminded (via UT) that the CHARACTER keyword wasn't added until VFP5. Using DELIMITED WITH | (or DELIMITED WITH '|') puts everything into the first field. Check out Tamar's response. Luckily, she was gentle with me... LOL
