There are references to Creator which is another form of God. From the Declaration oif Independence:

We hold these truths to be selfevident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.

Because our Constitution outlines the powers and functions of Congress, Judical and Executive branches, I would not expect there to be any religious aspects of that document. There is no mention of God, Religion, Church or Creator in that document.

Amendment 1 of the Bill of Rights is the first mention of religion:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances

The point I would like to make here is our Country, Courts and most politicians, have for the most part, long ignored or forgotten the part about or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. The linking of Gov't funds to what can or can not be said, done, written, read, posted should be irrelevant. Small minorities should not be dictating to the majority via the Court system the terms of the use of tax money. Most of us pay dearly every year in taxes, and and our rights are being trampled upon by a small group of people who have successfully linked the use of public money to prohibitions that seemingly contradict the Constitution and/or the Bill of Rights. There is no mention anywhere in the Constitution, Bill of Rights or Amendments to the Constitution of the public funding caveat that these groups and Liberal judges have latched onto.

As for public schools, I am sick of these institution being used for social engineering. They have become a political pawn and launching ground for many who got their start as Board Members. The politicians, administrators and Board members, for the most part, could care less about educating the kids. We are providing them with the touchy-feely crap that will get them absolutely no where when they have to support themselves later in life. Teach them Science, English, Math, Reading, Writing, Speaking, real American History and Political Science.
