John,

Are you tagging the icon against the compiled target program in the Start Menu? Check the following (ISExpress)

- The following assumes you do not have the shortcut on your start bar yet. -
1. Go to Configure the Target System, Shortcuts/Folders.
2. Get to the Taskbar setting.
3. Get to the Start Menu Setting.
4. Right Click on the Start Menu Setting. You will get a popup asking you to creat a new shortcut (don't worry about advertised shorcuts and/or new shortcut to prexising. Select "New Shortcut".
5. It will ask you the name of your target program/application. Type it in. When you do, the shortcut properties will appear in the screen, right side.
6. In the shortcut properties, insure you go in and select an icon file. NOTE: you should select an icon from your SOURCE computer, not the target. The reason why is if you select a target icon, it might not be 'real' until after the setup is complete. Selecting a SOURCE icon means it will be copied to the setup database and used realtime during the setup process.

However, when I install the application on an end user machine (using the latest version of InstallShield Express), the icon next to the app shortcut in the Start Menu is still the Fox Head! Does this mean that the ico file needs even ANOTHER format, or something else?
