Hi Brian

There are a few ways of achieving this. If the network crashes regularly (usually the cause of corrupted CDX files), keep a backup of your *.CDX files in another directory. Then (assuming that no new indexed are created), copy back the "good" CDX's over the corrupt files, and run a REINDEX on each of the tables concerned.
