My apologies for littering this thread with more responses, but I solved my COM Status error code problem - I needed to change the web service build from my local machine name to the internet address and rebuild the web service. All is fine then.

Back to the original problem- I am able to get past the corrupt spot in code on my other machine. Short term solution.

Now, what do I need to do to my original machine? I would like to not have to uninstall everything and reinstall - I've had to do that a couple times already for various reasons...not a pleasant experience!
