I am going to be switching soon to Remote views which I can still refer to them as V_name. We are also switching to Crystal Reports and was wondering if I could get Crystal to somehow recognize the views as V_name so that I don't have to change every report once I switch to Remote views.

Unfortunately, CR doesn't recognize native VFP cursors. I took the approach of creating a cursor that has everything needed to generate a report then saving that as a temporary FOX2X table. I then tell CR to use the temporary table. I've made my entire Mere Mortals/Crystal Reports classes available on our site. Take a look at the link in my .sig. The class also include a help file to (hopefully) make it easy to integrate CR w/your MM's app. The class basically encapsulates all the communication w/CR and also provides a form for your reports (although you can use the class w/o the form; speaking of which, I should really modify the help info to explain how to do this...). You might find it useful.
