I've set up an HP laserJet 4500 with tray 1 set to cassette and a paper size of custom. From here I print out my text document that ahs various PCL codes in it for barcode printing. However, jobs sent to this printer after mine sometimes do not have formatting codes sent with them so i wanted to reset the printer after my job was done. So I issued a reset code at the end of my custom job. This works fine except that as soon as my custom paper prints out a blank [page from tray 2 (letter) is automatically ejected. This is a real hassle. Anyone have a clue why a reset code would be issuing a form feed after to a different tray? know this isn't exactly for this thread but I couldn't find a different thread to put it under. Thx.
