My app is running on Windows XP(Home Edition), which also acts as a File Server and interacts with a client machine which is running on Windows 98 Second Edition. The app is compiled in VFP 7.
So far, I have not experienced anything in the manner that you are expereince, i.e., memo fields being stored in incorrect client records. The only issues that I have seen is that the network occassionally hangs. This, I understand is because of Windows XP Home Edtion.
