I thought PSP had a decent automation interface.

I just checked the Windows Install component and it's not an optional install on XPPro that I just hadn't run. I'm doing some more digging on this. There are Office Document Imaging and Scanning programs installed, but it's hardwired to TIF support only! And it does not appear to have the ActiveX controls.

I really need a way to automate bulk image reduction. Doing them 1 at a time in Paint Shop Pro sucks. I did find free software to do bulk conversions at http://www.arcatapet.net/imgv32.html but you can not automate it. As long as I have something that can do bulk conversions, I can live without full automation [just barely, though :)].
