What's the best way to call a form from a menu bar within Codemine when parameters need to be passed and both forms must use the same record? I know there are a lot of whys this can be handled in VFP but I'd like to know the method(s) I should use to most efficiently handle the task using Codemine. Should I use openchild(), or openform(), or should I create a custom action and use defineaction(), getvalue(), and execute(), or ???

Currently I have a child form with a TXText activex control on it. The data sent to populate the control comes from a table in the Codemine Data Environment. The specific data used to populate the control depends on the user's selection of menu items and toolbar buttons.

I'm using Codemine 7.0 and VFP 7.0.

There's probably a very simple way to do this with Codemine. I'm just not familiar enough with it to know and the more I work on it the cloudier it gets. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
