What!
So soon they forget <g>. I have been a ProMatrix Database user for sooo long I'm not sure I can remember exactly when I started?
I believe I wrote my first ProMatrix App in FoxPro 2.6 Windows and ProMatrix (was it ver 1.8 or 2.4?) for Navsea Headquarters in Washington DC in 1993 or 1994. That makes me a ProMatrix Developer for over 9 years, yup...
The last 6 years I have been developing Visual ProMatrix applications here in San Diego for both the Navy, and after I retired for my current company DataQuick...
9 Years and many, many Navy VPM applications, and now more .COM applications.
San Diego counts for Southern California, yes?
Here in San Diego, I have assisted at least six or more other developers with ProMatrix projects - some I know from fellow ProMatrix MVPs - and other new ProMatrix Developers... One VPME client of mine was developing Visual ProMatrix Applications to track an entire Napa Valley Wine Companys inventory and harvest - that was a way cool app!
I also did consulting for a Visual ProMatrix Developer in Malaysia who stopped by in San Diego to see me. That was, I believe, a SQL and VPME, VFP integrated application.
I'll read more of this thread - but hey, we ProMatrix users are writing apps and solving problems for clients/companys - don't know how many of us hang out here at the UT, or MSnews - but you will find a bunch of us at news.promatrix.com news group...
Sorry for length - just wanted to be sure I was counted
...
FoxPro 7 Rocks! Visual ProMatrix adds to VFP one of the most integrated, clever and advanced design interfaces a developer could want!

>I have heard rumors that there are thousands of Visual ProMatrix users, but find that difficult to fully accept. Does anyone know how many users there really are of Visual ProMatrix?

>There are indeed many Visual MaxFrame users here in southern California, but maybe only a handful of ProMatrix users by the evidence I see at FoxPro user group meetings. I am hard pressed to find any ProMatrix users here in S. Calif., other than one in Rialto, Calif.
