Yeah, I understand about Supply Officers; many of them played the political games, which I did not care much for. After 6 years in the Marines, I swore I'd not go into the military ever again; yet, a few years later I applied for a commission while I was an SK2 and got it in early 1984, and retired as a LCDR. Still, I really wished I had goten my commission in the Marines, but they said I was too old. Ce la vi!

I interviewed for one of the top jobs in SPAWARS from the military side a couple years ago, but was not willing to commute, nor was the Navy willing to relocate me to San Diego; ultimately, due to family situations (children's schools, etc.), I waved off the job, but I wanted to do it. Oh well.

What about if we wanted to do web development? We have WebConnect. Would we be able to use n-tier as it is now to do this?

I am not sure of all the questions I would ask in regard to this accounting application we must write. The reason we must rewrite this thing is that many clients have gone away from a once vibrant company, since the days of DOS went away for the majority of users. In order to regain the market, we need to have our app in the Windows environment and FoxPro was the tool we desired to use. I mean, what else is there that does such a fine job? And so then this led us to searching for a framework, and then me getting stung by so many people I had offended,...<g>
