I have a dropdown list in a grid column. On this occasion, the column's Sparse property is set True. When the list gets focus and I select an item from the dropdown list, when the dropdown list closes (after selection), the closed list box is deep blue and the selected item cannot be seen in the closed dropdown list (until you leave the list).

If I set Sparse false on the column and then select and item from the dropdown list, the selected item in the closed dropdown list can be clearly seen whilst the cell still has focus.

Any ideas why, and what can be done to see the selected item in the selected dropdown list when Sparse is set True?
