Thank you for taking the time to respond to our ignorance. I enjoyed the trip back in time and remember Tom Rettig, and another Tom in his office. When I would telephone them I was the “third Tom”, and we would laugh at that.
I recall December of 1995 that CompuServe “changed” you might say! Somehow CodeBook was not mentioned and that is where I began with my first “commercial framework”. I call it “the grandfather of VFP frameworks”.
A suggestion for marketing in California: If you have addresses of VPM users in our state you might ask a few of them if they would like to demo VPM at specific user groups. Give away a copy of your product at the demo and give some incentive to the person making the demonstration. Marketing is important as well as ROI and there are potential users of your product in our state. You could give this suggestion a try and see what the result is. You will not know unless you try and this would be a relatively inexpensive investment .
