I have searched the Crystal knowledgebase and technical briefs and found very little about graphing or charting my time in seconds as MM:SS (minutes and seconds). One article says to group on minutes or seconds and display one or the other on the chart. I want to show for example, a bar chart where the first bar shows 236 seconds (3 minutes and 56 seconds) as 03:56 at the end of the bar on the chart instead of 236 as it currently shows and I also want to show the X-axis values of 1 min., 2 min., 3 min., and so on instead of 40, 80, 120 and so on in seconds as it currently shows.
Any way to do this? I do show 03:56 in my elapsed time column in my report because I successfully converted the 256 seconds to minutes and seconds using a formula, but I doubt I can chart that same value in that format.
I suppose I could force the X-axis to 30, 60, and 90 seconds. That would be a slight improvement. Maybe I could then change the X-axis 60 seconds to 1 minute and so on. But then, I still probably cannot change the value outside the bar to something other than a number of seconds. Hmmmm....? Thanks for your thoughts and ideas?
