I tried to use ADO to build a recordset connected to a UNIX MySQL through a Win98 desktop ODBC. The connectionstring did not error and the recordsource (the SQL SELECT) did not error. I used methods similar to the ADO Query Analyzer in the DOWNLOAD area.

I might add that PASSTHROUGH (SQLCONNECT and SQLEXE) worked as predicted, and returned a cursor, but ADO would not build a recordset and would not tell me why!

ANy ideas?
Terry

>You can use SQL Pass-Through (SPT) or/and ADO to access Sql Server from VFP. Take a look at DataClas/VFP, for example.
