All in all I believe that this thread has certainly enlightened me as to some of the features of VPM. I had little if no idea of what benefits it had as either a framework or a RAD tool (*G*) until now. Thanks to all of the participants for stepping up to the plate and volunteering your opinions. I also have to give cudos to the VPM folks for stepping in to this thread and posting all of the information on VPM. I think it may open up some minds of more than a few people. While many of us have our 'favorite' framework to use and yes, the choice is mostly subjective (I have my favorite too, but I'm always interested in a more robust tool that will allow me to meet business requirements in the fastest and yes easiest way!), the information provided here gets stored in those little gray cells for use later on, and I believe more developers will look at VPM as a possible solution now.
