As far as accounting systems goes: Visual AccountMate *used* to be written in VFP, but they went to VB (at least that was their plans the last time I spoke with their head of development). SBT *used* to be written in VFP, but somebody told me (I think) they went away from it also. There was another one called VFP 2000 (advertised here on the UT); I don't know much about it or even if they're still in business.
