Any chance U can re-write the app in VFP to take full advantage of the windows environment. I spent time investigating converting a FP2.5 DOS app into VFP. My conclusion was that with some improvements to the user-interface (Pageframes) and use of the DBC functions (locking/integrity) it was well worth the re-write. My client agreed. Our only mistake was that we did not spec out enough time to develop the app. But, Ur problem sounds strange. Did U try to reload VFP on Ur system. It almost sounds like Ur READ EVENTS is not firing after the form is launched. Use some of the debug option to trace the problem further. Place the SET STEP ON and SUSPEND commands in your setup code. Well htwh...
