Len;

One nice thing about being in the United States is everything becomes “blurry”, that is less than pure. The many English Pubs in the San Jose and San Francisco areas serve Old Bushmill’s and Guinness. I have even seen Prince Phillip enjoy these beverages while at an English Pub in San Francisco, on Geary Street, during one of his visits. In fact when my friends from England come to visit we choose those brews. Perhaps they are being nice to me or they may even enjoy what they are drinking.

Now if you wish to aggravate a Scot tell him he is a member of one of the five Irish Tribes. It is historically correct but always seems to lead to a fight.

My father was Scot and English and my mother Irish and Polish. Perhaps that is why I am known as the “Peace Maker” in my family! :)
