Two of my favorite human beings are Red Skeleton and Roy Rogers. At the end of the Red Skeleton show, Red would say, “May God bless”! and at the end of the Roy Rogers show, Roy would say, “May the good Lord take a liking to ya”! As a child and as an adult I had and have great respect for these two men and what they stood for.

Red Skeletons insight became reality. Others would have us reject God from any public or governmental activity or event. Imagine Red and Roy from having been prohibited to referencing God at the end of their televisions shows! That is what some would demand and they are very vocal.

If someone says “God bless you" it does not require a negative response or a letter from the ACLU! Too bad some Americans do not get the message – there is more to life than self.
