I'm having problems with a corrupt memo file which is part of a parameters dbf file in my app. I seem to get errors where clicking on the table memo field produces nothing even though data was entered in the field previously. I have noticed that the field displays Memo when the field is not selected but when the field is selected it displays memo.

I need to prevent this happening in my app, so does anybody know any defensive code to check or fix this up? Think it might be something to do with the DBF and FPT parting company and loosing the link between the two. Both files are in the same directory, so don't know what's going on!!
