Though we can quarrel about the definition of efficiency, The're already are good accounting products that work well in for several countries. I worked for a company that has several sister companies in europe for reporting issues towards the mother company they all purchased the same accounting package. Because of the high flexibility and the posibility to adjust about all behaviour etc, it seems rather to work efficient.
