Hi,
I am working on a electrical chain shop project. I would liek to get some ideas from yuo all.. please advise.

1. Outlet sell items.
2. If outlet doesn't have the stock, it will request warehouse to deliver the item. Then, outlet should able to check the "real time" warehouse stock status.
3. Warehouse will deliver the item after receive the delivery request from outlet. Once delivered, warehouse will send back the acknoledgement and the payment received from customer to outlet.
4. HQ will do all of rest job such as stock adjustment, stock in, transfer adn etc for outlet and warehouse.

Do you think, should I implement it fully online or partial online (only upload the transactions intervally) ? Which is easier and less complexity?

1. The outlet may need to know the "real time" warehouse's stock status.
2. Outlet may only need to upload their sales records by batch.
3. HQ may upload outlets' stock adjustment, transfer and etc by batch.
4. HQ, warehouse, and outlet want to have a local copy of it's own data.

Do you think, i should place all of the database/tables in web hosting too?

What if, I have desktop application as usual, then upload all updated data to web host after a period of time?

Do you think web services is the right way to go, or I upload the table to web host and then run ASP that will update the uploaded data?

Please advise anything that you feel i should consider on.
Please don't hestitate to let me knwo if you need further info.
Thank you very much
