You have to create a Virtual Directory in IIS that points to your Project directory. Then in VS.NET give your project the same Alias name you specified in IIS.

I noticed that the subfolder of localhost that I use becomes the project name, but I don't store my projects on C drive. Instead I will put it on (for example) G:\dev\projects\myproject.
