'ó' -> '?' looks like a common result from codepage/characterset translation when the target codepage does not support the converted cahracter. MS Excel is always "helping out" by removing characters it "thinks" your exported file type does not support. What client software are you using? Reveiw codepage/characterset settings from client input control down to table schema.
