I'm trying to resize a log file using SEM. I get the error:

Error 5041: MODIFY FILE failed. File 'mylog
' does not exists.

Remark the spaces after the file name and the CR.... looks weird

SO ' looked in the sysfile and sysfile1 and the file is there.

I was able to backup, take offline, bring online and restore the DB without any warning. But I'm still unable to resize the log file.

The log file is full, this is why I'm trying to resize it. The schrinkfile did not work either, same error.

Any clues ?
