My site has a requirement for a electronic version of the wall mounted whiteboard we use to keep track of where our depts staff are.

Usually folks will phone in sick or go to a meeting and someone will update the board as appropriate.

I decided to have a look at digital dashboard so that this function could be made part of the Outlook Today pane in Outlook.

However the Microsoft download location.

only seems to refer to

Microsoft SQL Server Digital Dashboard 3.0


Does this mean that this product must have SQL server to run.
We use SQL server but I did not want to involve it in this rather trivial task.

All comments and suggestions most welcome, this is a new area for me.
