Dear Friends,

Is there any way by which i can create thread in VFP.

Case Study:

I am querying the V$SESSION from Oracle in FORM 'USERS STATUS' giving me the no. of user logged on to my application. This is done through a timer which requery my oracle database after every 1 second. Which provides me uptodate data at any time.

The Problem:

If i try to run any other FORM keeping this FORM 'USERS STATUS' as minimized it takes of all the resources and dosen't allow any other operation.


Currently i have compiled this FORM 'USERS STATUS' as a different EXE. After which, it dosen't hinders the normal operations of my application.
