There are many reasons why VFP7 is important to me. Some (but no all are):
- Programmable Intellisense: easily makes you 10/15% more productive!
- XML native support with CursorToXML() and XMLToCursor() and XMLUpdateGram() which is useful for SQL Server 2000 data
- Plays well with DotNet and can create and consume Web Services.
- OLE DB Provider
- New and enhanced commands and functions:
SET TEXTMERGE now supports TO MEMVAR (TEXT ... ENDTEXT) so it is easy to create manual HTML or XML on the fly.
