Hello Tracy. Thanks for the code. I've been a little confused because this is the first app that I can actually encapsulate the tables within the .dbc.
Our company has been using 2.6a tables and apps, so other apps that I've written in VFP 7.0 I've had to make the tables "free tables" so it would not corrupt the tables and 2.6 apps could still read them, so I didnt have to worry about opening/closing different databases. But it is very handy this Database container!

Anyways, yes I was using the DE of the forms. I will try to learn alot more about the application object, so I can use the code from above. Any suggestions on links to learning about the app.object? Thanks again
