Yes - I was just expanding on Zlatin's idea...

As far as changing the date, it is impossible without running a program on the FTP server to force a date change - which in itself would probably violate all sorts of security concepts. If it's a Microsoft server, I think they're set to open a black hole and disappear into it with ALL your data!

As has been suggested, if your FTP site is on Linux or UNIX, you could run the TOUCH command on the server side, but I have not seen a WINDOWS version of TOUCH in my brief search.
