Hi Douglas. Is very easy to connect the Linux machine to the NT4 network. If you want some docs you can go to:

There will be a lot of usefull links for configure this well. Another option is in the docs that came with every distro. RedHat must have a directory with the documents of every (or almost every) package, including SAMBA.
