OK, I'm sorry for you. But the why not still go on the offensive? Why do they believe that Fox will only be around for five years? Even if MS stopped developing VFP why would your VFP apps not continue to run? Most apps have a lifecycle of more than five years anyway. There are many people on this thread still using 2.6.

At the end of the day, it is impossible to forecast the future. You should simply chose the best tool for the job to be performed.
