Hi Alan

Don't be that sure on this. It happened to me yesterday while using VFP7 and a RV against a SQLServer table as well. :-(

I tried most of the advices you got here meanwhile myself with no avail so far, but I hadn't the time yet to dig it really to the ground. The most interesting thing I noticed is, that the problem seems to be related to some settings. Running the same RV from another box also using VFP 7 doesen't show the speed loss, neither can I reproduce it in VFP 6.
