It would appear that in the computer programming world, a Fox is an odd animal indeed. Now that you mention VC++ also interprets "Upward" the same way as VB and ESRIs MapObjects, that makes 3 against 1 (and counting?).

Anyone else know of other applications, development languages, tools, etc. that uses an Upward pattern and which way does it slope?
