I am trying to have web services to update my database which located on other location with internet.
I would like to show the progress of the web service method call (e.g. batch processing) to my client. How could I have event using web services? Do you think I pass an object reference to the method call, and have a "call back" within the method?

Again, I may integrate it with VFP desktop app or ASP.NET.
Any ideas?
