Bury your head in the sand and all problems will go away. Do not ask questions because it upsets others. If you stick your head up someone will try to knock it off. Basic rules of life. :)

I find no problem with asking questions. Sometimes someone will give you a perspective you have not considered. When it comes to convincing management it takes a good argument to change their minds. Typically, management has already made up its mind but they have no concept of reality. Management prefers warm fuzzy feelings – like a gin and tonic or a new accounting concept. :)
