OK, this is getting real strange now.

There are 6 Events in the Textbox class (BTW it's a VFX framework) and I have put code in each event to stop it executing the class code.

I've narrowed it down to something occurring in the Valid Event, I have:

SET STEP ON
NODEFAULT

As soon as NODEFAULT has processed - it clears the SelStart property in a flash, no code runs or anything.

This happens in the VFP Base Class AND the VFX Class.

BUT - it only happens when there is a ControlSource specified.

Any ideas?
