>I have a product using MM distributed to various users. I use the newid() function in some of the tables. Those users who have VFP 5.0 installed on their system experience strange behavior. Initially after setup, things appear fine; however, at some point the newid() code starts throwing errors. It becomes unable to find named constants from include files and also stops recognizing VFP 6.0 functions like JUSTSTEM(). Any clue what I have done wrong or what could be causing this???

Paul,
For clarification.... Your product is distributed to various users how? As a setup that installs the product as an executable? As an .App file?
Can you clarify this a bit more?
