Glenn,
I am posting a project which was aimed at sync/mirror a local and remote site
It is not complete since I've had to drop it for other things. But it does what you are after
It contains an Internet class (nothing new there) as well as a form (Mirror)
The Mirror.Upload() is the part to look at
- compress locally
- upload compressed file
- construct a bat file to unzip remotely
- upload bat file
- bat file writes the exit status to an rtn file
- remotely execute bat file
- try to ftpget the rtn file (once the bat finishes)
- read the rtn to see how the bat exits
Any questions, just post
