I have a client with SQL data on the web which we would like to manage from a desktop application (seminar registrations). I'd like to allow her to bring her laptop with her, make changes and additions off-line, then re-synchronize with the web site.
I'm not sure what approach to take. I suspect I could go with MSDE - but I've not used it like this and I'm concerned about the complications of installing MSDE on her laptop.
Of course, I could probably go with remote views, but then I'd have to mess with VFP tables to maintain the off-line state and synchronization issues.
Another option may be local XML tables!
Heck, I guess I could just go with a .NET application too!
Advice?
Any references to help me with the details?
TIA
