Thanks for the quick and CORRECT answer. I didn't exactly use the program, but I opened the report manually and looked in the Expr memo field. There is was, hard coded my default printer as File as LaserjetIII. It got that way after I installed Adobe Writer so I could print to file and make pdf's. (works prety well albeit slowly)

After I just put spaces after the printer, the program responds to the SET PRINTER TO NAME commands correctly.
