I wanted to go, but didn't ever really feel a strong connection to many people in high school, but only a few close friends, so why waste the bucks? I live in S. Calif. and have for many years. I miss my grand old state of Texas, the Indian Paint Brishes, the Mesquite trees, the Blue Bonnets, the armadillos, etc. <g>

Cecil,

Your comment about the docs and "Fair may not cut it" have hit the nail on the head. That is why I recommend the training. If you are planning to do serious mods, you need all the help you can get. It seems like they put just enough info in the tech manuals to get you confused and/or in trouble. From what I remember, SBT was even worse. The classes are pretty straight forward. You just need to know where to hook your code for form and field level validation. Knowledge of how the system handles SQL security, triggers, VFP dbc generation, application of Accountmate patches and the like is a must. I've had to learn most of this by fire and from our staff but I understand Amate does cover this in training.

Its good to hear from a fellow Texan. We still have the wild flowers, mesquite and critters. Thankfully the Dallas area was spared by the flooding. It is hard to believe how much water has landed on the Kerville-New Braunfels area. Those folks are really hurting.

Come see us,
