>I'm located in Central Pennsylvania, right outside of the state capitol Harrisburg. There's alot of bigger system work in this area, good PC developers are hard to come by. Seems all the reputable FoxPro people migrate to either Philadelphia, New York, or DC. My boss spent over a year trying to find a local FoxPro programmer (company wont relocate people) when he found me... now come Jan. 1st it's my turn to go out and find more FoxPro people to build a development team (crosses fingers). Ever interview a programmer with nearly 10 years experience who says to you... "What do mean you write programs with FoxPro? That's not a language!?" LOL.... "Next!"
Well, maybe they just need some good information. Let them see a little of what VFP can do...you may be letting a potentially good programmer get away. Right now computer programming positions are pretty plentiful for job seekers. Sometimes the employer has to show the programmer why he/she would want to work there to get some good quality people.
