Dear All
Could anyone tell me what an 'invalid seek offset' is, as microsoft does not explain it.
A customer of ours is using our accounts package written in visual foxpro 7. They are running a peer to peer network of 5 machine using a switch. The server is a windows 98 machine pentium 111 500mhz machine with 20gig hard disk and 256mb of memory, and is used to store our database and also used as a print server. When they are printing to an HP business print 2200 ever so often on the clients they get an invalid seek offset. A possible cause is that they use the memo alot. The possible causes I have come to is that they have either corrupted memos or corrupted indexes.
Can anybody help me with this problem with more information on this error
Thank you
David
