What i actually want to do is find/strike out matching records(calls) from two tables, using the called number, and starttime and the key fields.
A time allowance needs to be given since some calls may but delayed by seconds. Matching records are taged in both tables.

What i'm experiencing is when i use LOCATE for with either Bnum(called No.) or with the BETWEEN... alone i get the desired resulsts - matching records taged.
But a combination (which is necessary) does not show even a single match even with a very wide time diff ( The table however really has some matches)
