One thing you can be sure of, is the fact that .net will replace VB6 development.

This is not true for VFP development but we need to know how our VFP app. will communicate with .net app.

>Our current survey shows that the request from the developers seems to focus on obtaining more videos in our training series about .Net for VFP developers topics. This is a big surprise. We expected to have bigger numbers of order choices as well but the highest number of votes focus on the .Net choice.

>The reason I mention that is that it's kinda interesting to get that stat as sometimes, when someone mentions .Net topics in the support area in regards to VFP, there seems to be always some debates about it. For example, at several occasions, when someone from MS or another big party on UT mentions something about .Net, some seems to see it as if they were trying to move everyone to .Net and get rid of VFP. So, this has created a lot of debates so far. But, when we create a small survey about it, this is the highest choice.

Note also that the request to obtain more training material on that particular topic is not necessary a sign that VFP developers, who voted for it, are necessary moving to another developing environment. A lot of VFP applications, are now and will need to deal with those issues in the future.
