>I still have an old VFP 3 app out there and had to reload VFP 3 on my machine. I run into a problem I believe to be the CPU faster than 200MHz problem. Isn't there a patch for this? I cannot find it through MSDN or KB. I thought I had a copy of the patch from years ago, (I still have my 2.6 software) but it's not to be found. Any hints would be greatly appreciated.
FoxPro for Windows 2.5 and 2.6 (16-bit) have a problem with CPUs over about 300MHz. The fix is at

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q179287VFP 3.0 (32-bit) does not have any other problems with fast CPUs (that I've heard of). However, it will report paradoxical "insufficient memory" messages if the machine has a lot of physical RAM. I personally have seen it happen on a W2K Server with 512MB of RAM; I don't know if the error occurs above 256MB, 384MB, or what. The same code runs fine on a similar PIII/800 processor workstation with 256MB under WXPPro. I know of no solution for this problem other than running on a machine with less RAM or upgrading to VFP5 or above.
