Yes. Spanish is the official language in Bolivia. Other languages include Quechua, Aymara and Guaraní (a large percentage of the population here don't speak Spanish, although it is the official language).

Bolivia is in South America; about half of South America (Brazil) speaks Portuguese, which is somewhat similar to Spanish; in the other half (several countries), the official language is Spanish, in most cases.

Al this is also a result of the colonial history.
